Report & Block Controls

Rishta Gher provides report and block tools to help members manage unwanted contact and alert administrators to potentially unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.

When to use Block

Use Block when you no longer want a member to contact or interact with you. Blocking is appropriate for unwanted messages, repeated contact, uncomfortable behaviour or any situation where you prefer to stop communication.

When to use Report

Use Report when you believe a profile or member may be fake, misleading, abusive, threatening, fraudulent, underage, using stolen photos, requesting money, misusing the platform or otherwise violating Rishta Gher rules.

What happens after a report

• Your report is sent for administrator review.
• Administrators may review profile/account information and relevant platform activity.
• The account may be temporarily restricted while a safety review or verification request is completed.
• Depending on the findings, administrators may reinstate, block, suspend or remove profiles/accounts.

Your privacy

We aim to keep reporting information limited to authorized administrators and use it only for moderation, safety, fraud prevention and enforcement purposes.

Immediate safety concerns

If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service. Platform reporting should not be used as a substitute for emergency assistance.
